PATCH THE PUMPKIN

Patch the Pumpkin has become a much-loved staple of the Magic Pumpkin Show at Strawberry Fields Pumpkin Fest, making his first appearance back in 2022.

Patch first arrived on stage with a simple rope magic trick, but each year he has returned with something new — most importantly, a brand-new song for the whole audience to join in with!

Whenever the Farm Shop has a particular theme, we try to bring a little of that into Patch’s songs too. That’s where the golden doubloons, clowns and circus fun have come from over the years!

Patch’s first song was The Prize Song, where he handed out prizes throughout the performance. The following year, Patch got everyone up and dancing with the Pumpkin Patch Dance, a simple and fun party dance for everyone to join in with.

Then came Pumpkin Patch’s Farm P.A.T.C.H., a playful take on the classic Old MacDonald Had a Farm, complete with a Pumpkin Patch twist.

And now, brand new for 2026, Patch has gone a little bit spooky! This year he’s bringing his very own pumpkin-powered version of the Monster Mash to the stage.

From magic tricks and prizes to dancing, singing and now a little Halloween mischief, Patch the Pumpkin has become a firm favourite of the Magic Pumpkin Show — and we can’t wait to see what he gets up to next!
